"Before his accident, a client that I support enjoyed golfing and would play up to five rounds per week. As a result of the injuries he sustained during his accident he is now in a wheelchair. Last summer during one of our sessions he attempted to hit golf balls at an outdoor driving range but found the uneven terrain and hot weather to be very challenging.

Recently, a golf simulator opened in my client’s community. With encouragement he agreed to give it a try. After borrowing golf clubs, we went to the simulator. To our delight, the facility was wheelchair accessible and climate controlled. He smiled and laughed while hitting golf balls. The following week he purchased a set of golf clubs with intention to visit the golf simulator on a regular basis.
